Safety and reliability are what you get with the Spyderco Saver Salt Knife. It costs a bit more than the other marine knives out there, but for good reason. Its nitrogen based steel blade stays sharp for an extended length of time that even a frequent user will be surprised by. Combine that with the fact that the high-quality steel blade CANNOT rust even if it tried to, it's a safety measure worth investing in.
Hi, this is Kyle from APS, and I'm here to share with you our top sailing gift picks for men. I'm wearing the Helly Hansen Newport jacket. This is great for in shore, coastal, cruising, racing. It's a full cut. I'm going to muffle myself here for a moment, but the protection with adjustments here and adjustments in the side and the back. Front storm flap here. It's a mesh-lined jacket. It has internal adjustable seals at the wrist, external here. Cargo pockets, nice feature. Always love this. It has watch pockets on either side. Then I'm wearing the matching Newport trousers. Great jacket on the boat. Great jacket on land any time it rains. Great styling, again, as always from Helly Hansen.
All right, this winter, everybody likes a sweater, but how about a better sweater? This is from Patagonia. We've sold these for a number of years. They keep cranking up the styling on these. Nice contrasted gray piece here. I would like to show you the wonderful fleece on the inside here. I don't know if you can see that, but it is so soft. It's a medium to heavy weight piece. Lots of people at APS, myself included, own a better sweater and absolutely love them. Whether it's on the boat, around the house, any activity, great layering piece.
Okay. Now here's a piece. This is the Spyderco saber salt knife. They use very high quality stainless. Rusting of these products has really not been a problem. It's a one hand operation. That's to open, and I'm not sure if you can see the serration on this blade, but it is incredibly aggressive. On the backside there, this is textured, so if you do grab it with your thumb there, if you really want to do some work and cut away something, it's not going to slide, and certainly that blade will go through anything. Locking mechanism right there, and a belt clip. Wonderful piece by Spyderco. Great on the boat, have around for anything.
Classic Dubarry leather wallet. This is the Grafton and has the Dubarry styling right here in front. Classic style with two money compartments. Lots of places for your plastic, and those other things you want to slide away. Got a nice detail down here. Great piece from Dubarry.
