I just wanted to thank you for doing a great job on customer service & helping me out last week. I think I talked to Matt who gave great advice over the phone to help pick out a drysuit. When I went to order online, it was backordered. So I called back and he had Gill ship directly to me. It arrived in time and kept me dry and warm for IC Midwinters last weekend. Getting to go play with great sailors over 2 days in comfort was a real treat in January.

Thanks for coming through with a new halyard for me. I was at the Snipe Nationals last week. On Sunday we discovered that our main halyard was falling apart. Thought I’d check that before I left but apparently not. On Monday, your customer service person helped me find the right part, including calling Selden Spars to be sure the size would work. I had it the next day and it worked perfectly.
Also, a belated thank you for, as I understand it, keeping extra hours last year when the Snipe Nationals were held at SSA.
Service like this and your familiarity with the Snipe are the reasons I come back to APS.

Greetings APS;
I'd like to thank the sales folks there at APS for the great service I received last week. I'm hoping I've got the name correct when I say that John was my telephonic salesman, helping me rebuild my main sheet car. John's knowledge of the bearings and end caps made me feel much better, and confirmed that I had previously selected the correct items from your on-line site.
Historically I've always ordered from APS using the on-line format, and have never needed the 'human' contact but this time not only did I need the exact parts, I needed them the next day. John came through with flying colors.
I ordered the parts on Tuesday at 8:00 AM, and the parts were on my door step at 10:00 AM the next day, had the car rebuilt by 3:00 PM and the ladies took my boat 40 miles to Pensacola Florida on Friday. This travel necessitated the rush delivery of the parts so that they could participate in the annual ladies race, The Race for the Roses, sponsored by Pensacola Beach Yacht Club.
Thanks partly to the smooth operation of the main sheet traveler, they not only won their fleet, they also won overall honors and the Spirit trophy. Gees, they walked away with 3 of the 4 honors, and the last award they were not eligible for since they were in the spinnaker fleet thus ineligible for the Non Spin Trophy.
Thanks again for being so responsive!! I've passed this success with APS around my local Yacht Club, and you folks remain my #1 sail boat parts venue. Only West Marine gets more of my resources, and that's only because they are a brick and mortar store and right down the street.

Don’t know which one to thank, but you can’t imagine my angst when throwing together a last minute team racing clinic with an out of town instructor, only to find out that what was left of our club’s magnetic boat kit for chalk talks were 3 little magnets for marks.
Your efficient ordering & dependable UPS delivery, got the new magnetic kit to our house 2 hrs. before the clinic started.
Sure enough, when the instructor got questions in the chalk talk, he reached right over to the magnetic board and used the little boats and mark magnets.
The kit had the right kinds of boats, RC boats, marks and even the judge boat and wind and current magnets. Little did anyone know how grateful I was to have had APS to make the clinic a success.

Yesterday I received by UPS some lines with splicing as requested. I've tried splicing Yale Nylon Yacht Brait and can say it is not easy to do, as if you didn't know that anyway. My results were lumpy and certainly not pretty though working effectively enough. Yours look great. Thanks for professional and well-done work. There IS a difference.

I want to say how impressed I was with Warren Richter in customer service. I had a few issues with a recent order. (None of them APS problems.) Hi Kyle, I just want you to know that I received excellent customer service today from Steve Mazur. I sent an email regarding a question about the availability of Gil Neoprene winter gloves, and not only did Steve reply but he did it with a phone call to let me know what sizes were available and that they were in stock! This is very different from the experiences I've had with other online stores. Plus, Steve pulled up both my info from past orders and my daughter's whom the gloves are for. He discovered she was a college student so he let me buy them for her at the college discount and is sending them to her!!!
