Placing an International Order with APS
While the process of placing an international order with Annapolis Performance Sailing is no different than a domestic order, there are a few differences regarding payment and shipping. For reference, an order is considered to be in international order if the billing or shipping address is outside of the United States.
Payment of International Orders
Payment of international orders depends on the final total of the order, including shipping. We use major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) or wire transfer for payment. To ensure that the credit card charge is approved, please take care to enter the billing address exactly as it appears on your monthly credit card statement - any deviations from this will likely result in the charge being declined.
If the order total is over our threshold a wire transfer of funds must be remitted to APS. After your order is placed we will email you detailed instructions for submitting a wire transfer to our account. We will not accept your credit card for this order if it is above our threshold.
Shipping of International Orders

Orders for international shipment typically take one to two days of processing before leaving our Shipping Department -- orders will only ship out when all of the items are in-stock and available to ship.
Note: Shipping Rates will not reflect any tariff or duty charges that your national/local authorities may collect at the time of delivery. Any refused shipments due to tariffs or duty charges may still be charged for the shipping fees incurred. Changing an Online Order
Online orders are processed by our Customer Service Team each business day (Monday - Friday) at 9:00am and 1:00pm, Eastern Time. Changes may be made to any order before they are processed; however once an order is processed, it may not be possible to modify the order.

Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase that you make with APS; if you're not, we're here to make things right.
All returns should be sent to APS, via an insured and trackable method, to the following address:

Returns made within 30 days of the original purchase will be refunded to the credit card originally used for the purchase; returns made outside of this 30 day window will be issued a store credit. Please take a moment to fill out this form and allow up to five (5) business days from the date of your return's arrival at APS for it to be processed. Items that were purchased via a special order may incur a restocking fee of up to 20% of their retail value. All items must be in new, unused condition.

Exchanges can be made within 30 days of the original purchase date. Simply fill out this form (which is also printed on the back of your invoice) and send back the item(s) that you would like to exchange; we'll process your exchange within 2-5 business days of it being received at APS. Any difference will be refunded to the credit card originally used for the purchase -- conversely, be sure to include the credit card information you'd like to have used for return shipping or any additional costs (as indicated on the exchange form).
Additional Notes for Returns and Exchanges
Before you hit the water, pavement or use your new product(s), take a moment to be sure you have the right fit. Test new apparel/footwear in a clean, indoor area with the under and over layers you intend to generally wear. Go through the full range of motions, postures and functions you intend to subject each item to. Hardware and accessories should be laid out prior to installation to create a mock up of the application. Do not install or use items until you are satisfied they are correct and appropriate for their intended use.
Returned or exchanged items must be new, unused and in original condition and packaging with the manufacturer’s tags still attached. Cut, monogrammed, made-to-order items and DVD/CD/Videos are not returnable.
Product Defects or Warranty Claims
If you feel that a product is defective or that a failure is covered by the product's warranty, we are happy to assist you in placing a claim with the vendor for replacement. In most cases this will require you to return the item to us and for us to forward it on to the vendor for evaluation. Some vendors prefer to deal with end-users directly. We kindly ask that if you've actually used the product on the water, please take a moment to be sure that it is dry and clean as many vendors will not repair dirty or used garments. If a product is replaced, the vendor generally ships the replacement to APS and we will ship it out to you.
Annapolis Performance Sailing diligently works with its suppliers and product manufacturers to ensure correct and updated pricing, information and availability of the products offered for sale. Occasionally, errors may be made -- we regret, but are not liable for these errors. Additionally, prices and specifications are subject to change.
