NEW - Customer Service - Website Content Editor (Full Time -Salaried)

APS is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our customer service team. APS is located in Eastport, right in the middle of all of the local sailing action. From one-design dinghy to offshore, plenty of sailing opportunities also await. This job is essential to the success of our online retail site ensuring up to date and accurate product information. In this position there will be a partnership with the customer service team to provide the great customer service APS is known for.

• Compile information and images to update our online product offering with unique information
• Manage and execute web updates, proactively determining priorities and completing task list
• Become an expert and be able to advise on all offered products to maximize sales and build customer confidence
• Actively problem solve to find answers to customer’s rigging, hardware, line and gear questions
• Answer phones and emails to create a great customer experience
• Work with team to process returns
• Innovate within our One Design offering to help create and source new rigging and parts

• Friendly, outgoing with great communication skills both written and verbal
• Must have firsthand knowledge of racing dinghies, keelboats and/or performance cruising
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve and seek solutions to issues
• Able to proactively task themselves
• Excellent sense of initiative and results oriented
• Basic HTML
• Basic Photoshop Skills
• Minimum of a high school diploma

Fulfillment Assistants - (Full Time/Hourly)

APS is looking for motivated, detail-oriented people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to join our fulfillment team. APS is located in Eastport, right in the middle of the local sailing action. From one-design dinghy to offshore, plenty of sailing opportunities also await. This is one of the most essential roles at APS. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include many aspects of shipping and receiving sailing equipment:

• Pick, pack and ship orders
• Open incoming boxes, verify contents and label merchandise
• Stock incoming merchandise in the storefront or warehouse
• Clean up and perform general maintenance and facilities tasks
• Other duties as assigned

• Attention to Detail
• Ability to work under pressure against daily deadlines
• Independent, Team Player
• Previous experience in a warehouse/fulfillment environment a plus
• High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred
• Sailing/racing experience preferred but not required

• Lift up to 50lbs to shoulder height unassisted
