The diamond stays are 1/8 in 1 x 19 wire and have either a tapped (1/4-20 thread) aircraft eye or a t-ball fitting swaged on the upper end depending on how your mast is rigged. The lower end has a Johnson open body turnbuckle. The stainless sleeve in the middle of the wire is slid into the lower spreader to prevent the wire from wearing the aluminum spreader.
- As the diamond shroud is captive in the main spreaders, we will need you to send us your spreaders for proper installation.
- We will need you to provide* the overall length of the diamond shroud that you would like for us to build, if your length is different than 341-1/2 in..
- The measurement should be taken from the bearing surface of the turnbuckle pin to the bearing surface on the t-ball terminal or aircraft eye on your existing diamond stay.
