Polyester sailboat lines are an economical, UV stable, hardwearing material that is relatively lower stretch. These lines will have a longer life than some of the higher performance options.

Double braids - Classic double braid polyester lines that are widely used on cruising boats for most any running rigging applications and provide good service life.

Small diameter braids - Other specialty polyester lines include tightly woven, small diameter control lines mostly used on dinghies.

Specialty sheet braids - Some single braid polyester lines and specialty double braids have been developed to make them easier to hold by hand and prevent knotting making them excellent mainsheets on small boats.
