Samson ins MLX was the first fiber rope to successfully blend high modulus Polypropylene with high modulus Polyethylene (Dyneema). MLX provides higher performance characteristics than ropes made with traditional fibers, such as Nylon and Polyester, and it is less costly than rope made exclusively of Dyneema. It has a low-stretch, high-strength core and a soft and comfy Polyester cover, which makes it ideal for keelboat sheets and control lines. Its color-coded cover can be stripped or tapered.
