Hi, this is Kyle from APS, and I'm here to share with you this hat by OR, Outdoor Research. This is the Peruvian. It's windproof. It uses a Gore windstopper membrane. It's fleece. It's not terribly thick. Having personally owned one of these for eight or ten years, I absolutely love it. What's the advantage? Well, I've got my regular fleece hats and knit caps that I wear in the winter, but when the breeze comes up, and it's blowing hard, basically the wind just goes right thorough those hats. I got cold ears. I got a cold head. Not with this, no wind gets through. When it's really nasty out, it's a really nice formfitting piece. I've got flaps here on the side. I have a chinstrap where I can cinch it, or I can use this and cinch the flaps up.
Very comfortable piece, this is the Peruvian by OR.
