Women's Sailing Dry Suits
Women’s dry suits are made for sailing in cold weather, and are waterproof and breathable. They are available in unisex and some cases in women’s styles. They are completely water tight covering your whole body except your head and hands, and keeps you dry if you capsize and end up in the water. They are a one-piece, breathable and waterproof shell with latex or neoprene seals around the wrists and neck; with waterproof socks; and waterproof entry zippers. The low profile dinghy suits are worn primarily by dinghy sailors. Heavy duty ocean drysuits are available for grueling ocean crossings and around the world keelboat sailing. Base layers work well in cooler climates and thicker mid layers in colder temperatures. The typical dinghy dry suit is usually paired with winter gloves, warm Merino wool socks, and neoprene dinghy boots.
